Volunteer Opportunity for Adults 55+
Through the ADVOCAP AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Program, Lighthouse Christian Food Pantry is seeking a dependable volunteer to assist with weekly food pickups. The RSVP Program provides support to volunteers in their service roles.
Position: Food Pickup Driver
Schedule:
Thursdays | 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Pick up food donations from various locations.
- Transport food safely to Lighthouse Christian Food Pantry
- Assist with loading and unloading heavy boxes
Requirements:
- Must be 55 years of age or older
- Able to lift and carry heavy boxes
- Have a reliable vehicle with enough space to transport food
- Dependable and punctual
