Summer GARDEN Volunteers needed with DCSC -Duluth Community School Collaborative, Myers Wilkins

Starting in June come and join us for some garden fun with DCSC staff Member Sadie, at Myers Wilkins Elementary School

We are looking for a couple steady volunteers that want to help with Garden Lessons, once a week in the more morningish hours (flexible, can work with the right ppl). Right now we are looking at Friday mornings from 9-12 .... (Other potential option for the day could perhaps be Mondays) This would be giving lessons to little kindergartners aside our MW Community Health Coordinator.

Duties:

• Help prepare lessons
• General help keeping little ones interested
• Prepping class, getting soils ready, watering cans ready ect.....

Days/ Times:

• Fridays or Mondays -Firdays first choice for us, Mondays second choice for us ( we are willing to work with you )
• Anywhere in the general time frame of 9am-noon on that day.

We are also looking for Garden Watering Volunteers, starting mid June 2026 at Myers Wilkins

When:

• Monday - Friday between the hours of 9-noon

Time to allow for this:

• 1-1.5 hours each monring
