Chat with a neighbor while you help them tidy up their home

Often seniors and people who have disabilities need a little bit of help maintaining their home. That someone could be you. Hear great stories, keep active, and get that good feeling in your heart and make someone feel cared for when you help a neighbor by signing up below.

Apply to volunteer with us, where you will be connected with a person who needs assistance maintaining their home due to mental and/or physical disability. Our program offers you the chance to use YOUR unique skills to uplift someone in need! We are seeking compassionate people to connect with our underserved neighbors and are looking for a wide range of skills, from conversationalists to grocery shoppers to folks who are handy! We would love to hear from YOU!

Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income older adults and adults living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair, and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.

Due to the vulnerable population we serve, volunteers must complete an application form, pass a Washington State Patrol check and attend an orientation.
