2025 Holiday Model Train Show in Raleigh and Durham, NC. Help us make it happen.

Little WORLD Charity is a ten year old, 100% volunteer small group with a huge impact in the North Carolina Triangle area. Our animated displays, year round in 21 children's hospitals, clinics, and libraries, create 500,000 smiles (button presses) a year to kids in need of some joy. We are also running a huge, free model train show in December, 2025 and we need lots of volunteers for various roles (no skill required). These range from some muscle to setting up and taking down the train tables, decorators for the layout areas, and people helping to run the various trains. All of this is fun, relaxed easy volunteering where you will see lots of smiling faces.

Due to the large number of dates and shifts and different locations, we've organized the signup method for you in the google sheet in the link below. Please see the simple instructions (yellow background) at the top. There are three tabs in the file, one for the Raleigh train show, one for the Durham train show, and one for setting up and taking down the decorations, trains, and tables and storing them.
