ABOUT US
Ace of Hearts is a 501(c)(3) dog rescue foundation dedicated to rescuing dogs, the day they are to be euthanized, from various Los Angeles shelters and placing them in loving homes. The Ace of Hearts Foundation is in memory of "Ace", a wonderful American Bulldog who was rescued from death and touched the lives of many! (Especially founder Kari Whitman!) We rescue all breeds!
WHAT WE NEED
Our rescue Lana is a 10-year-old girl is a youthful spirit with a heart of gold! She is a 46-pound lab mix. Despite her age, Lana's in excellent health and loves to play and run. She's always up for a game of chase. Lana is currently with one of our fosters, and she needs someone to provide her with walks regularly or as much as possible. This really is a sweet pup who will give you all of the affection!
VOLUNTEER ROLE
What we need is someone who is energetic, reliable, and can communicate well with Lana's foster about times for walks and any other details to work out.
REQUIREMENTS
All volunteers must sign a waiver.
All dog walkers must be at least 21 years old.
