Volunteer Vice President (Remote Startup Non-Profit)

About Us

The TheoRose Center, Inc. aims to provide comprehensive case management, training, and referral services to financially disadvantaged youths and their families. Our objective is to help this population escape the bonds of poverty and homelessness. We empower families to successfully move into the mainstream of society by providing critical life skills training and direct referrals for housing, medical care, mental health services, and back-to-school opportunities.

Role Overview

• This is a high-impact, 100% remote, unpaid volunteer leadership role for a dedicated changemaker.
• You will serve as the chief partner and trusted advisor to the President & CEO.
• You will execute the CEO's strategic vision and manage daily virtual operations.
• Flexible Hours: The weekly time commitment is completely up to the candidate based on availability and project needs.

Key Duties

• Operational Execution: Translate the President & CEO’s long-term vision into daily remote action plans.
• Program Oversight: Manage virtual execution of youth training, life skills programs, and referral pipelines.
• Strategic Alignment: Step in for the President & CEO when needed to lead digital meetings and represent the organization.
• Resource Optimization: Work with the CEO to recruit remote volunteers, secure grants, and manage the startup budget.

What We Need

• Executive presence with experience supporting a CEO or executive director.
• Leadership experience in non-profits, case management, or social services.
• Passion for helping disadvantaged youths and families escape poverty.
• Strong skills in using remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace).
