Indirect and direct hospice volunteer support needed. We are looking for volunteers to share their time with the lives of others. We have many opportunities for people who wish to volunteer.
Amedisys is looking for volunteers to provide companionship and socialization via visits and phone calls. Our patients also love to receive handmade gifts such as paintings, crafts, crochet items, Alzheimer's fidget blankets, special projects such as biography boards/books, photography keepsakes- the list is limitless! If you have a talent to share, we have patients who would love to feel special and receive the gift of your time and enjoy your unique talents and abilities!
There are also opportunities for administrative volunteers in the care center and volunteers who support patients remotely.
