We support our children by ensuring their village (parents, families, early educators) has the means and resources to provide quality care, which our children are deserving of. Every life is created on purpose, with purpose, for purpose; here we are purposeful in ensuring our children have the best environments to fulfill their purposes.

Role Description

This is a volunteer position for a Board Member at The Village Neighborhood. The Board Member will actively participate in governance, oversee organizational policies, and ensure the organization's mission and goals are achieved. Key responsibilities include attending board meetings, collaborating on strategic planning, monitoring financial performance, offering advice and guidance, and serving as an advocate for the organization in the community.

We are currently looking for members to fill the roles of Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and a committee member.

Qualifications

• Strategic Planning, Policy Development, and Organizational Governance skills
• Fundraising, Budgeting, and Financial Oversight abilities
• Strong Communication, Collaboration, and Leadership capabilities
• Experience in Nonprofit Management, Community Engagement, or Advocacy
• Committment to The Village Neighborhood's mission and values
• Previous experience serving on a board or in leadership roles is preffered
• Knowledge and experience in Early childhood development or related field is preffered
