    The Role:

    As the Senior Manager of Social Media – Solution Community, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and growth of our online community presence across social media platforms. This role focuses on building a thriving solution-focused community by driving engagement, fostering meaningful connections, and curating high-value content that supports thought leadership, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, and customer success.

    Conditions:

    • Location: Remote
    • Commitment: Part-time (volunteer, pro bono role)
    • Contribution Requirements: Minimum 10-15 hours a week; minimum 3 months

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategy & Leadership

    • Develop and lead the global social media and community engagement strategy for the Solution Community, aligning with brand and business goals.
    • Define KPIs for growth, engagement, and impact; monitor and optimize based on analytics and performance data.
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, customer success, and communications teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaigns.

    Community Growth & Engagement

    • Foster a vibrant community by conducting social listening to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging topics.
    • Prepare regular reports and present insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Identify and engage with community advocates, influencers, and industry thought leaders to amplify reach and credibility.
    • Oversee moderation guidelines and ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive online environment.

    Content Development & Management

    • Lead content planning for social media channels and community spaces, including posts, live events, video, and thought-leadership pieces.
    • Ensure the content is solution-oriented, relevant to the audience's needs, and consistent with the brand's tone and style.
    • Partner with creative teams to develop compelling visuals, infographics, and multimedia content.

    Data & Insights

    • Track and analyze performance metrics to measure ROI, identify trends, and inform strategy adjustments.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • 7+ years of progressive experience in social media management, community engagement, or digital marketing; at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven success in building and scaling online communities for B2B or B2C brands.
    • Expertise in social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) and community tools (e.g., Khoros, Discourse, Higher Logic, Slack, Discord).
    • Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
    • Proficiency in analytics tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, native platform insights).
    • Exceptional leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

    • Experience working in a solutions-based, technical, or SaaS environment.
