Food Distribution Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring our neighbors receive nutritious food with dignity and care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, working as part of a team, and serving the community with compassion.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather refrigerated and frozen food items
• Add perishable items to pre-packed boxes of dried goods
• Assist with the safe and efficient distribution of food to neighbors
• Offer a friendly, welcoming presence to those receiving assistance
• Follow food safety guidelines and pantry procedures
• Help maintain an organized, clean distribution area

Qualifications

• Friendly, respectful, and comfortable interacting with people from all walks of life

• Reliable and able to follow directions
• Able to lift light to moderate weight food items
