Day of event volunteer check-in will take place at the Johnny Cake Activity Center, 14255 Johnny Cake Ridge Road.

Activities will take place at Johnny Cake Ridge Park-West – 14255 Johnny Cake Ridge Road

Volunteer Needs

Activity Assistants - will be working outside 5pm-8pm 2 volunteers needed

• • Lead and assist with activities to provide direction, safety and order
  • Line attendant
  • Equipment organization
  • and taking down/clean up.
  • Communicate w/volunteer supervisor

Volunteer Check In

2 shifts 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. - 1 volunteer needed

5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. - 2 volunteers needed

• • Stationed inside the Activity Center.
  • Check in volunteers, provide them w/information, and direct them to their volunteer location.
  • Provide the public with basic information.
  • Communicate w/volunteer supervisor.

Fire Attendants

3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – 2 volunteers needed

• • Supervise traditional fire pits to maintain a high level of safety.
  • Tend to the wood fires to ensure they burn continually throughout the event.
  • Communicate w/volunteer supervisor.

Fireworks Perimeter Attendants

3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – 2-3 volunteers needed

• • Monitor the safety perimeter so attendees do not enter the fireworks launch area.
  • Communicate w/volunteer supervisor.

Sparky – Fire Department Mascot 4pm-7pm – 1 volunteer needed

Post-Event Assistance

7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. – 4-6 volunteers needed

• • Assist with take-down, clean-up, and other tasks
