Mobile Meals of Westfield

Mobile Meals of Westfield is seeking a Fundraising Committee Chairperson to lead our efforts in identifying and securing funding that supports our mission of delivering meals to those in need in the communities we serve.

What You’ll Do

• Establish and lead the Fundraising Committee
• Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan
• Focus on raising the amount of funds needed to meet budget
• Organize and execute fundraising events, campaigns and appeals
• Oversee grant writing submissions
• Ensure all donations are tracked and acknowledged
• Attend monthly board meetings, second Tuesday of the month
• Provide regular updates to the Board on the status of fundraising activities
• Partner with board members to gather program and financial information

What You Bring

• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
• Experience with grant writing or fundraising (preferred, not required)
• Passion for community service

Time Commitment

~5 hours per month, flexible
