Vet-to-Vet Hospice Volunteer (Philadelphia)

BAYADA is reaching out to the community in search of Veteran volunteers to connect with our Veteran patients in need of camaraderie at the end of their life. We honor our Veterans and want to make sure that they feel supported and understood at this vulnerable time; having a community and interdisciplinary team that understands the sacrifices they've made is essential to their end of life journey.

If you would like to be a part of this journey as a volunteer who attends We Honor Veterans ceremonies, visits our Veteran patients one-on-one for companionship, or just wants to offer your service as a brother or sister-in-arms, we would be honored to have you on the team.

Join a team of compassionate volunteers sharing your time and talents to support hospice patients and their families. You’ll receive training and orientation to help you feel confident and comfortable.
