2026 San Diego Chapter MATHCOUNTS

MATHCOUNTS is a national middle school mathematics club and competition program. On Saturday, February 28, 2026, the regional San Diego competition will take place at UCSD-Warren Lecture Hall from 8 am to 3 pm. We need volunteers on this day to help with grading and proctoring. Training takes place on the morning of the competition, and no special knowledge of math is required. The time commitment is from 8:30 am to 1 pm, with pizza provided for lunch.

¿Cómo llegar?
Paid parking at Lot P508. From North, take I-5 to Genesee Avenue to Campus Point Drive to Voigt Drive to Matthews Lane. From South, take I-5 to La Jolla Village Drive west to Villa La Jolla Drive north to Gillman Drive east to Pepper Canyon Drive to Voigt Drive west to Matthews Lane. Drop off and turn around at Price Center at end of Matthews Lane.

Volunteers will be provided with an event information sheet with details on volunteering. The information sheet will also be posted at San Diego - MATHCOUNTS of California later in January 2026. Proctors will report to registration at Room 2001 at 8 am and Graders at 9:30 am for training.
