Providence Hospice is based in Wichita, Kansas.

We serve patients within a 60-mile radius of our office, reaching surrounding communities like **Newton, El Dorado, Hutchinson, Derby, and beyond.

We’ll do our best to match you with volunteer visits close to your home or preferred area.

Hospice patients in our community are seeking comfort through God’s Word. They are longing for someone to open a Bible, to pray, to simply be present in those sacred, quiet moments.

You don’t have to preach a sermon.

You don’t have to have all the answers.

You just need a willing heart.

This is ministry. This is love in action.

What you’ll do:

• Share scripture
• Pray with patients
• Sit, listen, and bring the presence of Christ into the room

Even one visit can bring peace that lasts beyond this life.
