Dog Walking and Socialization

We need volunteers to help socialize and walk our kenneled Mals at the boarding kennels in Puyallup, Burlington and Spokane. We have a group of folks that take turns visiting with the pups at the kennels to keep them socialized as well as groomed and exercised. Working with the dogs at the kennels requires participation in a mentoring/training program first as there are some solid guidelines we’ve developed through experience. Volunteers will need to complete approximately 5 training sessions with one of our mentors. After that they will be able to walk dogs as they're available, go on hikes and become a dog advocate if they choose.
