Come Hang with Us at Our Falmouth Thrift Store!

The position of Retail Production Assistant supports the Falmouth Thrift Store. Merchandise in the St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky thrift stores are donated items from our Northern Kentucky community. Revenue from the sale of donated items benefits the programs and services we offer, assisting neighbors with basic emergency needs and thereby providing hope for a brighter future situation. By completing key responsibilities, volunteers help to get merchandise prepared and out on to the sales floor, increasing inventory, resulting in increased revenue for programs and services. Thrift store revenue accounts for 70% of the funding for our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort donations, count and organize donated media and small home goods
• Conduct quality checks of donated goods, identifying damaged, stained, or unsellable items
• Organize, Hang and count sellable clothing items on Z-racks
• Clean merchandise and prepare it to be merchandised.
• Assist with the testing and sorting of donated electronics
• Assist with the pairing and binding of shoes
