This is a group volunteer opportunity for 4-8 volunteers.
At Hope’s Corner, we envision a community where no one is hungry. Due to rising levels of food insecurity in Mountain View and surrounding areas, we are expanding our programming to serve more nutritious meals.
Groups are invited to Hope’s Corner to prepare and package 90 meals that will be delivered to neighbors living in RVs in Mountain View. We are offering this opportunity to teams every Monday and Thursday from 2:30pm – 5:30pm.
How you can make a difference in your community by participating in our RV Meal Program:
Your group of 4-8 volunteers will be responsible for preparing dinner for 90 neighbors living in vehicles. Duties include preparing food, packaging meals, and washing dishes.
Volunteering with your group allows us to amplify our impact and help even more people who are hungry. This volunteer activity includes:
✓ A hosted tour of our facility at the beginning of your shift and kick-off presentation that explains our mission, impact, and various program offerings.
✓ The opportunity to see the immediate impact of your service and know your generosity is appreciated by our community members.
Is there a cost to deliver an RV Meal?
In addition to volunteering with us, we would appreciate your organization’s financial support. We are happy to provide information about the cost of preparing an RV meal during our initial conversations.
Please email Priscilla Vasconcelos at pvasconcelos@hopes-corner.org to discuss this opportunity further!
