Join an Animal Photography Advisory Committee at Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW)

Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW) is forming a series of honorary advisory committees made up of passionate professional photographers who are eager to contribute their expertise to ethical and inclusive animal photography. Our work prioritizes cross-continental collaboration, with a special focus on partnerships between Africa and Europe.

We are currently inviting applicants with experience or a strong interest in ethical animal photography, visual storytelling, and creative advocacy to build empathy and awareness.

Advisory members provide expert advice and help shape our programs, research, and advocacy. They promote ethical and culturally respectful animal welfare and support collaboration between Africa and Europe. We welcome both experienced professionals and new voices who bring fresh ideas and global perspectives. Committee members can also help with advocacy, outreach, and fundraising as part of their volunteer work. Committee members may be invited to present in virtual storytelling workshops, lead photography mentorship sessions, or collaborate on creative projects with international partners.

This is a remote, part-time volunteer position (unpaid) open to applicants anywhere in the world.

Estimated time commitment: 5 hours/week, flexible and remote.
