Descripción
The Communications & Public Relations Advisor will provide strategic guidance and
hands-on support to strengthen The Shoebox Project for Women’s public profile,
messaging, and storytelling. This role will help ensure consistent, engaging, and
mission-driven communications across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of key messages, talking points, and communications
plans
- Assist with media outreach, press releases, and relationship-building with media
contacts
- Provide guidance on public relations strategies during campaigns and key
moments
- Review and refine written content for clarity, tone, and impact
- Advise on brand consistency across communications channels
Skills & Experience
- Experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Experience supporting nonprofit or cause-based organizations is an asset
- Strategic mindset with an understanding of audience engagement
