About Us:

Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization saving the lives of abandoned and abused dogs and cats across California and Mexico. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming, we give animals a second chance. Our work is made possible by a passionate team—and powerful storytelling.

Role Summary:

Love dogs? Want to be part of their healing journey? As a Dog Care & Socialization Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in the daily well-being of our rescued pups. From morning meals to evening walks, your time and care help our dogs feel safe, loved, and ready for their forever homes.

You will:

• Feed and provide fresh water to dogs daily
• Clean kennels and living spaces to ensure a healthy environment
• Socialize dogs with gentle handling, playtime, and positive reinforcement
• Take dogs on walks and support basic training

What We’re Looking For:

• Based in Tijuana or San Diego
• Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Able to commit to regular volunteer shifts
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
