The Volunteer InfoTech Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a team of Help Desk Technicians, System Administrator(s) and Web Administrator(s), ensuring the seamless operation and development of our digital infrastructure. They will contribute to the organization's mission by leveraging technology to optimize efficiency, communication, and outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance digital capabilities and efficiency.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends relevant to the nonprofit sector.
- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of organization-wide applications and systems.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Supervise and support the Application Administrator(s) and Web Administrator(s), fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Manage the organization's website, ensuring it reflects the mission and values effectively.
- Coordinate website updates, enhancements, and content management.
- Optimize user experience and accessibility standards.
- Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on IT systems and applications.
- Develop documentation and resources to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and support requests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Expertise in system administration, including experience with cloud-based platforms and enterprise applications
- Proficiency in web development technologies and content management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
