Volunteer Position: Parenting Class Assistant

Location: Women's Care Center

Time Commitment: 1 hour per week

Overview:

The Women's Care Center is seeking compassionate volunteers to assist with our parenting classes for mothers. As a Parenting Class Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both the instructor and the participating moms by helping create a welcoming and organized environment. This position requires a friendly, dependable volunteer who is eager to provide valuable support to our clients while they learn and grow as parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the teacher with checking in moms as they arrive for class.
• Provide childcare for children during class to ensure moms can focus on the lessons.
• Help moms navigate and shop in our boutique, offering support as needed.
• Maintain a friendly and respectful environment for all participants.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with children and families in a supportive, patient, and caring manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
