Volunteer Opportunity: Join Us at GlowUp ACS and Help Students Gain Their First Real-World Experience!

Who We Are:

GlowUp ACS is a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering students who struggle to get work because they lack prior experience. We believe in providing that first opportunity and bridging the gap for students who might otherwise be overlooked.

What We Do:

We run a flexible, fully remote internship-style program focused on training and educating students in the tools and skills they need for their future careers. Although we’re new as a nonprofit, we have run volunteer programs in the past and are excited to invite you to join us on this journey.

How You Can Help:

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and skill sets. Whether you have experience in design, tech, admin, mentoring, or any other area, there's a place for you here. Our schedule is very flexible, and volunteers can log in and contribute between roughly 6 AM and 8 PM (or whatever time works best for them). We’re committed to making volunteering accessible and supportive.

What We Provide:

In addition to contributing to a meaningful cause, our volunteers receive help with resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and portfolios after they’ve volunteered with us for a while. We aim to give you the same kind of professional development support we offer our interns.

Requirements:

Because we are entirely remote, volunteers need a working computer with a microphone and webcam, and enough space to download or run apps like Slack or browser tools like Notion. We’ll provide all the training you need—no prior experience required!
