About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Property Database Manager to support our housing department in building and maintaining a comprehensive property database. This position plays a key role in contacting and researching potential housing options, assisting with data entry, and fostering relationships between My New House and property partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contacting and Researching Properties: Reach out to property owners, managers, and real estate agents to gather property information.
• Data Entry: Maintain and update an accurate database of properties.
• Partnership with Housing: Support communication and coordination between My New House and potential housing partners.
• Flyers and Property Information: Collect marketing materials, flyers, and details on available properties.
• Communication: Serve as a liaison between My New House and property owners or managers.

Required Skills:

• Strong reading and comprehension skills
• Basic math and attention to detail for data accuracy
• Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive in both written and verbal communication
• Curiosity: Interest in researching and understanding housing opportunities
• Research: Ability to gather and synthesize information effectively
• Persuasiveness: Ability to engage with property owners and convince them to partner with us

Position Details:

• Location: Full remote, with virtual meetings as needed.
• Requirements: Must have access to a personal laptop; corporate email will be provided
• Volunteer Status: This is a volunteer role with a flexible schedule
