About Us.

Sahel Women English Connect (SWEC) is a grassroots initiative dedicated to empowering women and girls & youth in the Sahel and conflict-affected regions through education, vocational skills, and language learning. Our mission is to break down barriers of illiteracy and isolation by providing access education, leadership training, and digital literacy, thereby opening opportunities for social, economic, and civic participation.

SWEC envisions a world where women and girls are not only able to read, write, and communicate effectively, but also become changemakers in their communities. By equipping them with tools for self-reliance and resilience, we contribute to reducing inequalities, fostering inclusion, and strengthening democracy.

Volunteers Responsibilities:

1 Develop and implement creative fundraising strategies within a short period of time.

2 Launch crowdfunding campaigns and donor outreach online.

3 Build relationships with individual donors and diaspora communities.

4 Support SWEC’s sustainability through partnerships and innovative funding models.

Qualifications

Experience or strong interest in fundraising, partnerships, or business development.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Motivated to help grassroots NGOs grow sustainably.

Ability to work independently and creatively.
