Your mission

With over 200 young volunteers from 16 countries ready to join us, YouthShare Initiatives is entering a key phase of organizational growth.

We are looking for a Volunteer Recruitment Specialist (volunteer role) to lead the selection, interview process, and onboarding of our incoming talent.

Your key responsibilities

• Organize and lead 30-minute selection interviews with volunteer applicants
• Help identify recruitment needs across different teams and projects
• Develop and implement a structured, inclusive recruitment strategy
• Coordinate with the communications team to publish opportunities
• Oversee onboarding and follow-up for new volunteers
• Ensure every new member enjoys a welcoming, meaningful, and human-centered experience

The ideal candidate

• Comfortable conducting interviews and engaging in dialogue with people from diverse backgrounds
• Interest or experience in human resources, civic engagement, or nonprofit work
• Proficient in French or English (bilingualism is a plus)
• Organized, autonomous, and reliable
• Committed to the values of social justice, sustainability, inclusion, and youth leadership
• Motivated to contribute to an international, youth-led, and purpose-driven project
