We’re looking for a Website UX Volunteer

Do you love creating user-friendly websites and want to help vulnerable children and young people through your skills?

Friends-International (FI), an award-winning NGO founded in Phnom Penh in 1994. Our vision is a world where every child, young person, and their caregivers are safe from harm and can access education, training and job opportunities to fulfil their potential as productive, functional citizens of their countries. Our dynamic teams across Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Europe deliver innovative services for children, youth, and communities. Through our Saving Lives, Building Futures, and ChildSafe programs, we focus on child protection, education, vocational training, social businesses, and more!

THE ROLE

As a Website UX Volunteer, based in HQ in Phnom Penh or remotely to support our Partnerships Team in improving the donation page on our website. You will:

• Review the current donation page and suggest ways to improve it
• Help make the donation process easier and more engaging for visitors
• Support updates to the page content and layout
• Share your knowledge with team members so they can manage the page confidently
• Create simple guidance notes for future use

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their website skills to support a meaningful cause and help us connect with more people who care about vulnerable children and young people.

Does this describe you?

• A dynamic team player who is passionate about working for the protection and education of marginalized children, youth and their families
• Experience with website design, UX, or digital communications
• Comfortable working with WordPress
• Able to work independently and share ideas with others
• Experience with donation or fundraising websites is a plus
• Available to volunteer remotely or in Phnom Penh for 2–3 months, with flexible hours.
