Sometimes the most meaningful gift you can offer is simply your time and presence. Capstone Hospice volunteers provide one-on-one companionship and emotional support to individuals facing end of life.
Our patients live in private homes, assisted living communities, and memory care settings, and your visits bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of connection during an important chapter of life.
No prior experience is needed. We provide all training and ongoing support, and you’ll be joining a deeply caring and committed team of volunteers and staff who believe in showing up with compassion.
What volunteering looks like:
One-hour visits, about once per week
Flexible scheduling that fits your life
Volunteer matches close to your home—no long or stressful commutes
Opportunities available in Cobb, Cherokee, Dekalb, Gwinnett, Forsyth, Fulton, and Atlanta
This role is ideal for someone who wants their volunteer work to feel personal, intentional, and truly impactful. If you value listening, kindness, and being present for others, this may be a meaningful fit for you.
We would love to connect and explore whether this opportunity aligns with what you’re looking for.
