About the Role

We are looking for an experienced volunteer Social Media Manager to lead and grow Grievia’s presence across digital platforms. This role is central to how our message reaches and connects with a global audience, helping foster a supportive and engaged online community.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain Grievia’s social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others)
• Develop and publish engaging content, including posts, stories, graphics, and short-form videos
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages, and nurturing a thoughtful, supportive community
• Support and promote campaigns, events, and initiatives through social media
• Plan and maintain a consistent content calendar aligned with key themes and activities
• Monitor performance, track engagement metrics, and provide insights to improve reach and impact
• Ensure all content aligns with Grievia’s voice, values, and visual identity

Who This Role Is For

• Proven experience in social media management (required)
• Strong understanding of content strategy, audience engagement, and platform best practices
• Skilled in creating engaging, mission-aligned content
• Comfortable working with reflective and emotionally sensitive topics
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
