The Comfort Home Place serves, houses, and empowers individuals who have experienced domestic violence. We are searching or a detail-oriented individual to join our board of directors as the treasurer.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization’s financial health, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and nonprofit accounting practices.
- Work closely with accountants and auditors to maintain transparency.
- Present financial statements to the board.
Desired Qualifications
- Background in accounting, finance, or nonprofit financial management.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Knowledge of nonprofit financial regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
While this role currently requires a minimal time commitment, we are planning to transition the role into a paid, part-time or full-time position in the future.
