Creative Projects for Kids

Help us provide comfort and support to our patients and families facing terminal diagnoses. Children of all ages and their families can help to:

Decorate your Recycling ~ We need vases, recycled glass spaghetti/pickle/etc. jars. that are clean, with labels removed, and/or decorated for our Petals for Patients program. Each month we deliver flowers to over 75 patients and families. We are always in need of gently used vases or vessels that can be turned into vases. All sizes are needed.

Seasonal Care Packages ~ Create a cute care package using Ziploc bags, flower pots, gift bags, etc. Fill with seasonal treats, flower seeds, and other goodies!

Plant Flowers ~ Plant your home grown or store purchased plants or flowers in small pots that you have decorated! Helps us bring a little sunshine to our patients and families in Northern Kentucky!

Create Patient/Caregiver Comfort Packages ~ Fill small gift bags with comfort items for patients and families. Below are a few suggested items: Lotion, lip balm, cozy socks, crossword puzzles, mints, or uplifting reading materials.

Energy Snack Bags ~ Hospice families and caregivers are often exhausted taking care of the people they love. Energize them by filling treat bags with granola bars, trail mix, juice boxes, mints, and uplifting cards and messages.

Handmade Cards ~ We have a wonderful Birthday program for our patient. Create birthday cards with a "Thinking of You" message. We also need cards with no messages inside. Our patients benefit from sweet uplifting cards.
