Lemonade For Legacy is a youth-based summer enrichment and entrepreneurship program designed to empower children and teens through hands-on learning, leadership development, and community engagement. Participants will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship by planning, organizing, and operating a lemonade stand while gaining real-world experience in teamwork, responsibility, and financial literacy.
Program Responsibilities: Participants are expected to actively engage in all program activities, including setting up and operating lemonade stands, learning basic money management, practicing customer service skills, and working collaboratively with peers and mentors. Youth will represent the program and the Melissa Kalee Lasha Giving Hope Foundation with respect, integrity, and professionalism during all activities and community events.
Qualifications & Eligibility: The program is open to youth ages 10–16 who are willing to learn, follow program guidelines, and participate in both educational and hands-on activities. No prior business experience is required. Participants must demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to work as part of a team, and a commitment to completing the program.
Additional Program Details: Lemonade For Legacy focuses on building confidence, accountability, leadership, and life skills while encouraging creativity and goal-setting. The program also emphasizes community involvement and giving back. Parental/guardian consent is required for participation. Program schedules, locations, and expectations will be provided upon acceptance.
