Child Enrichment Activities Support Volunteer

Activities Support Staff is instrumental in supporting children`s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts is key in communal living. Assisting in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children strengthens bonds of socialization and community.

Activities Support

1) Supervise and monitor the safety of children in communal settings

2) Keeping the children entertained through activities

3) Facilitating their development with learning activities

4) Engaging in play

5) Help with homework for children

6) Conduct arts & crafts groups

7) Assist group facilitators during group activities

Activities support person will report to Assistant Program Manager to receive schedule and duties as needed.

HOURS:

Monday-Thursday

4:30pm - 6:30pm
