Looking for Team Members for She Desires to be MD

She Desires to Be MD is a global, student-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering young women—especially women of color—who aspire to pursue careers in medicine and healthcare. We provide mentorship, educational resources, leadership opportunities, and a supportive community to help students navigate the path to medicine.

We are currently seeking volunteer team members to support our growing organization. This is a remote, flexible volunteer opportunity ideal for middle school, high school, and college students interested in medicine, leadership, research, digital media, or nonprofit work.

Volunteers will join one of the following teams:

• Digital Team: Supports social media, website content, graphics, and digital engagement to help amplify our mission.
• Research Team: Assists with medical, health, and education-related research, content development, and fact-checking for programs and workshops.
• Event Management Team: Helps plan, organize, and support virtual events, panels, and workshops from start to finish.
• Recruitment Team: Supports outreach, application review, interviews, and onboarding of new members and chapters.

No prior experience is required. Training and ongoing support will be provided. Volunteers are expected to commit 2–5 hours per week for at least one academic term.
