Graphic Designers to Support Black Community Projects

The Black Power Blueprint (BPB) programs are transforming North St. Louis through renovation, economic development, and political power by and for the black community.

The BPB Promotions Team is seeking graphic designers to capture, express and promote these dynamic activities and community programs. These programs are promoted through brochures, cards, and social media graphics

Have some skills? Want to practice them and improve? Have time every week or once a month? We have the perfect volunteer spot for you on our team.

We need YOU to help us promote these life changing projects happening in a majority black North St. Louis neighborhood that has been deliberately neglected by the city for decades. Black Power Blueprint is revitalizing every aspect of life on the Northside, bringing healthy food to a food desert, renovating unused homes for low cost housing, and creating employment and uplifting cultural life.

This area, scarred by the vast majority of the 25,000 abandoned houses and lots in St. Louis is now home to the life-changing Black Power Blueprint project.

Black Power Blueprint (BPB) has opened a basketball court, a community garden, a community farm that distributes free vegetables, painted beautiful murals, and continues to renovate abandoned buildings to transform and uplift the long neglected area along the West Florissant Corridor. A Buy Black Power retail store, workforce training program, an African Women's Health Center and Doula Training Program, and a small business district constructed out of shipping containers are all in progress.

This volunteer position is open to everyone. Your design skills will be helping to revitalize and rejuvenate a once thriving Black Community. Come join us and have a great time doing some vitally important work. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
