HELP MANAGE EXPANSION OF AFRICAN BASIC HEALTH CARE PROGRAM
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Fund for Global Health is expanding its program in Nigeria, delivering health care to remote communities, especially in the areas with the highest child death rates. This job would help manage the expansion. Nigeria has the largest number of child deaths of any country, and the expanded program will focus on delivering frontline primary health care services and rapidly assessing results.
Fund for Global Health pays particular attention to supporting the career and professional development of our Fellows. Fellows are given as much responsibility as they can handle in terms of shaping the program.
TASKS
Tasks and deliverables will include:
>> Helping design program innovations
>> Helping to manage and assess pilot programs, including quantitative analysis
>> Helping design and implement household surveys to assess conditions in program area and results of the program
>> Statistical analysis of results data
TIME COMMITMENT
>> Variable, approximately 2 hours per day
>> Minimum 12-month commitment
>> If you are a grad student, we will work with your school on receiving credit if desired. This is an unpaid position.
QUALIFICATIONS
>> Intelligent, good judgment
>> Attention to detail is a key requirement
>> Reliable
>> Comfortable with quantitative analysis
