Life is a journey and we need volunteers to help our patients and families navigate their last mile. We need volunteers to help with patient companionship/caregiver relief (never any hands on care), running errands, preparing light meals, doing light housekeeping, helping with projects around the house, or performing administrative tasks at our office or your home. We also have special opportunities for animal lovers with our Pet Peace of Mind program, those who want to do vigil care with GIFT (Grace In Final Transition) and Veteran with our We Honor Veterans program.
All of our volunteers are background checked, drug screened, and TB tested (at no cost to the volunteer). You will complete 12 hours of training on a computer, either in the comfort of your own home or in our office (if you need a little guidance with computers).
We ask all our volunteers to commit to giving 2 hours each week in whatever area you decide to serve in.
Counties served are Sevier, Union, Blount, Knox, Anderson, Campbell, Scott, Monroe, Roane, Loudon, and Morgan
