Chipembere Community Development Organisation (CCDO) is a local non-governmental organisation that promotes and implements rural development initiatives in Malawi, with an extensive operational base in Thyolo District. The organisation was established in 2005 and officially registered on 22 November 2010 in Blantyre under the Trustees Incorporation Act of 1962, in accordance with the laws of the Government of Malawi.
CCDO is committed to empowering youth, young women, girls, and children to voice issues affecting their daily lives. The organisation works to combat early marriages, prevent the spread of new HIV and AIDS infections, and mitigate their social and economic impacts. CCDO also advocates for the promotion of local democracy, human rights, and gender equality, while enhancing young people’s active participation in the socio-economic development of the nation. These objectives are achieved through lobbying and advocacy, capacity building, research, documentation, and policy dialogue.
CCDO’s mission is to promote interventions that enhance the well-being of underprivileged women, children, and youth through capacity development, advocacy, and impact mitigation. In line with this mission, CCDO is seeking an online volunteer to support the organisation by proofreading and reviewing a drafted project proposal.
We are looking for volunteer who have prior experience and are based in USA or UK
