Reports To: Founder & Executive Director
Schedule: Part-time, flexible (10–20 hours/month)
Compensation: $25/hour
Role Overview
TechArts Empowerment Foundation is seeking a Community Technology Officer (CTO-in-Training) to support and strengthen the organization’s technology infrastructure across its headquarters and mobile STEAM classrooms.
This is a hands-on, service-oriented role focused on setting up, maintaining, and improving the systems that enable staff, instructors, and students to do their work effectively. The role emphasizes reliability, documentation, and support, with opportunities for growth as TechArts’ technology needs evolve.
This position is well suited for a university student, retiree, or community-minded technologist interested in nonprofit impact and long-term growth.
The candidate who accepts the role must reside in the Los Angeles area. The Community Technology Officer will have to be available to travel to the office, various parks, libraries, and community centers in the south bay region and Los Angeles county area.
