Food Recovery Fellowship: Community Service Opportunity for Retirees (June–December)
Looking for a meaningful way to stay active, connected, and give back to your community? Join the Food Recovery Fellowship, a six-month service-learning program with Share My Meals designed for retirees and older adults who want to make a lasting impact.
This unique opportunity combines flexible volunteer service with community connection and lifelong learning. As a Food Recovery Fellow, you’ll join a supportive cohort of peers helping recover and deliver surplus meals to nonprofit partners serving individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
In addition to hands-on volunteering, Fellows will participate in engaging in-person and virtual learning sessions focused on food recovery, sustainability, hunger relief, and community impact.
