Costume Projects for Winter/Spring 2026 Season (Jan-May)

Bellevue Youth Theatre needs individuals who can help us with various projects for maintaining and organizing our costumes. Although we've existed for about 30 years, we've been in our new building for about 9 years and in that time we have not only added to our costume collection, due to our steadily increasing participation, but some of our costumes are a little worse for wear.

We need not only some skilled sewers to help us repair and restore existing costume pieces, but we also need individuals who are passionate about inventory and help us prep our collection for our new costume inventory application, StageStock.

For this project, we need assistance taking pictures of each item, measuring it, assessing the quality and creating SEO tags. You will be an integral part in creating a terrific new system to help us stay organized in the BYT costume shop for all shows! If you have experience with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) or applications, we'd really love your help, but no experience is necessary.

For those handy with a needle and thread, you may even take some projects home or work on them right in the costume shop.

Individuals with theatrical costuming experience are welcome to come and learn what we are all about, but no professional experience is required.
