"Everyone Eats Today" Food Truck

Make a meaningful impact in our community by volunteering with Salt + Light. As a volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our neighbors at risk or experiencing homelessness, helping create a space where everyone belongs.

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meal Prepper – Help with meal preparation and portioning, assemble essential items, and assist in keeping our kitchen clean and organized.

Food Truck Service Assistant – Join us as we provide meals, essentials, and compassion to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Volunteers meet at the Salt + Light office to carpool with the food truck, travel to designated location to serve, and return to help clean up.

Along the way, you'll build meaningful connections and remind our neighbors that they’re not alone.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

You’ll work alongside Salt + Light staff to uphold health and safety protocols that prioritize the dignity and well-being of our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Tuesdays

8am-10am Food Prepper

10am-12pm Food Truck Service Assistant

Thursday- Friday

9am- 11am- Food Prepper

1pm-3:30pm Food Truck Service Assistant
