The Chronic Pain Project creates space for artists living with chronic pain to tell their own stories — through exhibitions, community, and connection. We're a fully volunteer-run nonprofit, just over a year old, and we're growing.
This summer, we're running our annual fundraising campaign with a goal of $10,000 — and we're looking for someone to help make it happen.
What you'd be doing: You'd take the lead on shaping and running our summer fundraiser from concept to close. That means coming up with a campaign idea that fits who we are, partnering with our social media volunteer on content and messaging that brings people in, and keeping our board, volunteers, and artists informed and engaged so everyone knows how they can help.
Specifically, you'd be:
Who we're looking for: Someone who's comfortable running a project with some independence — you won't need a lot of hand-holding, but you'll have full support from the ED. What matters most is that you can think in campaigns, write clearly, and genuinely care about what we're doing.
Bonus if you have experience with nonprofit fundraising, social media management, or working with communities navigating health challenges.
Time commitment: About 5 hours a week from mid-May through July.
This is a volunteer role. We can provide a letter of support, reference, or acknowledgment in any way that's useful to you.
