Can you spare an hour or two a week to make a big difference in the life of an older adult? You don't even have to leave your home! SilverlineNY volunteers are matched with individuals who would benefit from a friendly conversation once or twice a week. Call for details and learn why the cure for loneliness is a phone call away.
1 year minimum time commitment.
Must be 55+
Must live in New York State and be a citizen of the United States to be eligible for this opportunity.
This opportunity is not appropriate for students in need of service hours or college credit.
Extensive background check will be conducted.
