We are seeking a passionate, empathetic, and collaborative individual to join our team in a volunteer capacity. This is an unpaid/volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in donating their time to our non-profit.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Care Package Supply & Logistics Coordinator serves as the vital engine of our Care Package Program. In this hybrid/in-person Houston role, you will oversee incoming supply pipelines from community donation drives and handle the physical inventory management, package assembly, and fulfillment for local families experiencing loss.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled student at a Houston-area college or university.
• High attention to detail, strong time-management, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Gmail) or Excel.
• Compassionate communication style and empathy for families in grief.
• Ideal for majors in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Inventory & Intake: Track incoming Care Package Request Forms and maintain inventory logs for comfort items in Houston.
• Supply Drives & Partners: Coordinate with local Houston churches, schools, and businesses hosting donation drives to maintain a steady pipeline of supplies.
• Fulfillment & Assembly: Pick, prepare, assemble, and ship care packages based on specific recipient needs.
• Logistics & Tracking: Coordinate shipping (USPS) and local drop-offs, ensuring accurate delivery tracking and prompt responses to recipient inquiries.

TIME COMMITMENT

• Volunteer role with flexible hours (estimated 4–6 hours per week)
• In person/Hybrid, with occasional virtual meetings as needed
• Ideal for individuals seeking experience in nonprofit development, fundraising operations, or admin support.
• Location: Hybrid / In-Person (Houston, TX area)
