We are looking for volunteer "Peer Leaders" to lead our Project Healthy Bones (PHB) exercise and education class. Class are held morning and afternoons Monday-Thursday at various locations in Hamilton, Lawrenceville and Trenton.
PHB is an exercise and education program for individuals age 60 and older who are at risk of or who have osteoporosis. Classes are 1 hour and 15 minute in length. Leaders work in teams, and training and support is ongoing. Periodic meetings to share ideas, resources, and receive updates are held which build community among leaders and classes. All manuals, weights, and education materials are provided by the program.
