The Education Committee

The Education Committee is responsible for the club’s overall educational program. The committee shall prepare, or ensure the preparation of, all speaking schedules for club meetings and determine meeting assignments in advance. Remote participants are responsible for hosting 30-minute online one-on-one consultations (serving as speech mentors) to listen to others’ speeches and provide feedback, and for advocating the study of the Toastmasters Traditional Education Program using our club’s free resources.

The term for club committee members runs from July to July each year. Applications are open year-round, but all terms end in July. For example, if you onboard in March, your term will end in July of the same year. You will be assigned a specific task after you onboard as a committee member. Please check your email often after your application is complete. We will contact you soon.

Our basic requirements for committee members are to be at least 8 years old, volunteer based on your own availability, communicate with us regularly, and be passionate about what we are doing. For more queries, feel free to contact us at info@seadragonsgavel.org.
