Operation Airlift is an engineering design competition designed to spark imagination and enthusiasm about STEM learning for Chicagoland youth. In this exciting interdisciplinary competition, more than 150 middle schoolers from Chicagoland schools and youth-serving organizations bring their STEM A-game to build the finest remote-controlled airship they can. We’re calling on adult volunteers to collaborate with these young designers and cheer them on as they rise to the challenge!

Who we're looking for includes but is not limited to:
- Enthusiastic, dedicated individuals eager to make a positive impact.
- Volunteers who are open to collaborating with middle school-aged youth. (Age 11-13)
- Black and Brown community members who want to share their experience and enthusiasm are highly encouraged to apply.
- Bilingual individuals who speak Spanish fluently.

No experience necessary, we provide training!
