Volunteer RN / LVN / Medical Assistant – Community Health Clinic

CPCN is a nonprofit community health clinic serving patients in the Burleson area. We are seeking compassionate Volunteer Nurses (RN/LVN) and Medical Assistants (MA) to help support our clinical team and expand access to care in our community.

This is a meaningful opportunity for healthcare professionals who want to give back, maintain clinical skills, or support underserved patients.

Responsibilities

Volunteers may assist with:

• Patient intake and vital signs
• Assisting providers during patient visits
• Preparing exam rooms and supplies
• Administering basic clinical tasks within scope of practice
• Supporting patient education and care coordination
• Helping maintain a smooth clinic workflow

Responsibilities will always align with the volunteer’s license and scope of practice.

Time Commitment

Flexible scheduling. Ideally one shift per week or month, depending on volunteer availability.

Qualifications

• Active RN, LVN, or MA certification/licensure in good standing
• Basic computer skills
• Compassion for patients and interest in community health
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional and reliable
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required
